Living like cavemen

This is my sixth community update. Much has happened since my last one, we've had a developer chat on B.C. for a start, the first official movie made with The Movies was released, Alter-Ego has launched, Lionsource published their first and second installment of The Creature Compendium and LHtimes Lite launched. It took me Monday morning till Tuesday morning to finish the site, after that I went straight to work and did a full shift, only to collapse on Tuesday evening. One day later I also went on a three day trip to the south of Belgium, somewhere in the mountains doing typical boys stuff. My friends and I spend these days like real cavemen (made me think again of B.C.), checking military bases out. It was quite amazing.

The developer chat on B.C. was really interesting; over 1200 people in total joined the chat, ready to ask the Intrepid team any sort of questions. I consider this chat to be the best one Lionhead has had to date! We still have some tricks up our sleeves, something different for our next one, that's for sure! I haven't had a look at B.C. recently, but I will soon, and bring you my personal opinion in another community update.

E3 is also coming up as you might know, The Movies will be shown at Activision's stand and the team is really excited about it. Only a couple of days ago "It came from Uranus" was published on Gamespot, very impressive indeed! I caught Adrian Moore playing it recently and I think The Movies is another precious one; this is my sort of game and there is so much in it. Sooooo much.

Fable (yeah, Fable) will also be shown on the showfloor, and this time I make a personal promise that it will be the last one. We still can't officially comment on a releasedate, Lionhead wants to be 100% sure, but I promise it’s a matter of months and it will be out this year. We now have a very impressive wall in the office, showing all kinds of numbers regarding the amount of bugs the team is fixing and it’s going down fast. Different people from Lionhead and Microsoft will be playing Fable on the showfloor and giving a demonstration, that’s going to be sweet!

Black and White 2 will also be present at E3 on the booth of ATI, and I believe everyone is going to like it. The original game certainly caused a stir online (tell me about it!) but Part Duo looks VERY promising. Jonty Barnes and his team of Super(wo)men are doing mental things over there at Black and White Studios!

So far my short update for the community, also expect a FAQ for B.C. soon and another one for B&W2!
