i need help getting black and white 2 working im trying to install it with windows 7 but at the end of the instillation it will say error system has not modified i need help i just wanna play this game i was gonna look up the forums but they have been deleted

Hello!  I’m playing FAble 3 for PC and it glitched out on me and now I can not buy any more property?!?!  Is this a part of the game or is this an effect of the glitch (the glitch happened when i was playing a joined game with another player and the game froze then wouldn’t reload the “world”

Umm… hi, I am a gamer for the “Fable” series and I was wanting to give some suggestions for “Fable 4.” I don’t know if you’ll be reading this, or you have already made the game but I have some helpful suggestions for the game. First off, the weapons, please make it so it’s not all just one weapon to upgrade. I like the variety, just like in “Fable” and “Fable 2.” Also a lot of people don’t like guns, but if your next story line is more present than I guess it would be necessary. Maybe you could add crossbows instead? Also bring back the armor, also outfits too. And you probably all know is we miss the challenge in the game overall! “Fable 3″ took me one day to finish! Let me get to the good part, the magic and spells. I don’t know if you just didn’t want to make spells in “Fable 3″ or you thought it would be easier, but the amount of spells I’m going to say was pathetic. I’m sorry but it’s true. Also the NPC interaction should have a little bit more options, I like the setup for that in “Fable 2.” Oh and the monsters or the evil creatures, whatever you want to call them, I really like the variety in “Fable.” (I kind of miss the screamers and trolls [Not like the ones in "Fable 2" but the ones in "Fable" where you can hit them anywhere.]) And my biggest topic of all, the houses and towns. It would be nice if you could actually build your house or be able to edit the house you already have. u should make a new fable game.. i dont know about the newone but, like a fan of fable i expect much of u and i think fable 1 its a great game because have more armors and spells than other games and the reason why fable is awesome its because we can choose about be a good guy or be the devil… so i was thinking why dont make a new fable but this time before the line time of fable 1, the hero of fable 1 its not the first hero of Alvion just the one who defeat jack of blades.. so one game when the heroes start to appear and one where u are a bounty hunter who kills demons and beasts or become one of that beasts and destroy the world something like that.

i think fable is one of the better rol games ever exist and u can make more games like this just take ur time to make a good game. think what the people love of fable and what the people love of the others rol games, we love the magic and the armors something what u have on fable 1 and skyrim now just need to concentrate on how the character is wrapped in history being bad or being good hero

I want a Black and White 3, Black and White was the best game ever, i still play it on a daily basis, and its expansion pack, creature island, and Black and White 2, and its expansion pack, fable sucks in my opinion, black and white games are, were, and always will be the BEST strategy games, i beat the 2 games, and both expansion packs, i want a new one, and i have 2 sisters who love the game, a cousin who plays it all the time, and 5 friends, but only 1 friend who even likes fable, you must make a Black and White 3, please make a new Black and White 3, there is a demand, please answer it with a supply.

I guess I’ll put this in a comment here: I haven’t been able to see the comments on the “introducing ben finn” page for a few days now. The problem persists when I try another browser. I am accessing this site from the netherlands and one of my countymen I’ve spoken to seems to have the same problem. The site also loads more slowly. I hope you can solve this issue.
EDIT: I am also unable to see the comments on the recent Team tuesday post. Other pages still load their comments just fine.

hey i know people want black and white and stuff, but i have a suggestion, with fable 2 and 3 to be honest they were bad but fable 1 was awesome because of how you gained abilitys able to talk to people and shop with them, i know alot of people who want a fable like fable 1, please keep it in mind, thank you for your time to read this.

Video game characters respond immediately to user input. As long as this is true, character animation will always be awkward and unreal. Also, the starting and stopping of a character’s movement is always strange, going from standing still, running two feet and then standing still again. Also, characters never turn around in any appealing way, animation wise. Their feet glide on the ground, they don’t actually interact with the ground. How about NON-instantaneous cahracter movement? How about a controller as a “suggestor” of movement, rather than a direct mover? In other words, characters have their own unique personality and AI and respond to your suggestions in regards to movements and various actions. They can walk through crowds with perfectly realistic animation, approach people and things realistically, and even deign not to do things that they find dumb (like walk into a wall, or they might dodge cars on their own). In other words, the character is a very unique and “sentient” AI on its own, but it is taking “suggestions” from the user. Direct immediate movement has been the bane of character animation for decades now. EVOLVE!!! this has been a suggestion from a random gamer.

Your team should make a prequel to the fable series. No offense to you guys, I know you’re working hard. But Fable: the Lost Chapters was one of the best games I’ve ever played. But Fable 2 and 3 suck. If you could make a prequel, diving into the Old Kingdom or the founding of it, that’d be amazing! I couldn’t think of a game i’d like to play more than that. Maybe playing as Scythe, but not knowing you actually are Scythe until the end. Ah, I can’t even explain how awesome that game would be.

FIX THE DAMN GLOWING TRAIL IN FABLE 3. SOMETIMES IT WORKS BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT WONT SHOW UP EVEN WHEN ITS BRIGHTNESS IS VERY HIGH. I HAVE THE LATEST PATCH FOR THE GAME AND I TRIED EVERYTHING TO FIX THIS ISSUE. IT GETS SO ANNOYING WHEN TRYING TO DO A QUEST AND I HAVE TO KEEP GOING BACK TO THE MAP AND SELECTING THE QUEST AGAIN FOR A CHANCE OF IT WORKING. FABLE 2 HAD THE SAME ISSUE SOMETIMES AND NOTHING WAS EVER DONE ABOUT IT.

         Just wanted to tell you all how thankful I am of all the hardwork and dedication you guys put into your games theyre truly all incredible.
I have every fable and both Black & White games. I can’t wait for the next fable, but I really and you all know we all really want some news about a Black & White 3, if I recall you guys said there would be 5 installments and yet we have gotten no news of it past the release of the second installment. I truly hope Lionhead will release said information to either make or break their fans hearts. I’ll be looking out with keen interest in the subject as many of your fans do. Thank you again.

Be upfront with the fans of Black and White.  I played the first one many times over, even with many glitches that made it difficult to finish the game in one pass.  The second one I still play at least once or twice a year to completion.  The game is fantastic and the concept is extraordinarily simple in thought but complex in implementation.  For years we have waited for a 3rd to be released.  Please calm our impatience with the release of a announcement of a 3rd in the making and quench our thirst for godly power by giving us the chance to decide whether to be good or bad in the next Black and White.  PS. Please develop the game with the ability to be played reasonably well on systems of less than exceptional power for all those of younger ages and older ones to enjoy.  This I decree.

Um, hey, yeah. I’ve played Fable, (1,2 and 3; thoroughly enjoying all) and while I get that it probably is the biggest market for lion head right now, I would really like to know if Black and White 3 is being worked on or even looked that, seeing as it was rumored that we’re be seeing progress with it in 2010 after Fable II. Fable 3 is out and it’s 2012. I think a simple forum/blog post telling the Black and White fans what’s going on would be nice, so that we know whether to throw in the towel and just stick to the two awesome games that we’ve been given. 

Help!!!!!!!!!!!! I just bought a fable 3 village maker code and the website didn’t offer the deal anymore. I have to get a refund. To bad lionhead can’t remake the cite. I still have a code and others are still selling them on eBay. No body can use the preorder without buying a code. So why not leave the site up?

fable 3: since your game is a piece of shit and you all know its glitched take the fucking dlc down so people dont waste there money on a game they spend a couple hours getting into only for you to get stuck in a quest where the guy your supposed to talk to isnt there!

 Yesterday I was playing Fable 3 with a friend on XBOX LIVE. After I joined his game everything I had was gone, all my clothes, armor, weapons, hair.. everything. this sounds like a major bug.
Anyone experienced the same? or know how to fix it. I hope Lionhead will fix this bug, now I have to start all over again and I almost finished it with all keys and weapons..

Yet another furstrated player who can’t get the needed items to complete The Completionist and The Fowl Player for Fable 2. So please make them available elsewhere like you already did before I got the game. The fable2.com option no longer works, neither does http://lionhead.com/fable/fableii/experience.aspx. It would be a shame not to play the coming sequel, not being sure to unlock all the achievements later on…

I think it’s a shame you guys removed the forums. Not because we need them, but because there were SO many strategies and so much information about the games that had been discussed, that are lost now!

      I must express the lack of praise that all these comments below seem to NOT have. You guys have done some great things with Fable, and I do indeed hope that you entertain our desires with a fourth Fable. I will not lie, I am quite the gamer chick. I landed myself in a heap of trouble for playing the third installment of Fable, followed by the second for a straight 36 hours. Bloodshot eyes, coffee stains and junk food wrappers, the scars of a battle no outdoorsman could imagine. So I now, indeed with great love for the sandbox adventure beauty of Fable, I praise you for all the work that had gone into them.
      Now that I feel satisfied with my praises, let us turn to the less decent things. The others below are right, the fandom is moving on a bit faster than necessary. Skyrim (having played it) was very impressive and beautiful (however, I do like the lighter looking graphics in the Fable series). But why do you stand for being compared to it negatively!? I do believe that they are right, a Fable IV could put you smack on the best seller lists and game of the year nominees list. If you do it well, and do it with all your fanbase as a whole in mind. Lionhead, there are many great thinkers and imaginers out there who would be willing to help you free of charge, and I would be a liar if I said I wasn’t one of those thinkers.
      Please don’t think we hate the games. It isn’t the case. We just have… Views and Ideas to make the game appeal to the masses. All of that is a simple stone-throw away, and step one is as easy as posting a poll on your main page right here on this site. We are all waiting and all willing to wait. So if we’re gonna wait, it’d be decent of you guys to make a damn good Fable IV. Don’t take your fandom for ganted. And don’t let that damn microsoft push the games to roll out faster.

So I got on today, tried to join someone, started joining and it said connection lost to host..Went back to my game, all my stuff was lost except money..My character was naked, no weapons, clothes or inventory..demon doors were open but chests were locked..no gold or silver keys even though I just got done collecting them..gnomes were back even though I finished that quest..all stats were back at 0star and sliders were put back into the center (locked in the center)..my Road to Rule was reset, I can unlock those chests except the fireball, it’s already open..got the packs to own houses and shops, can’t buy either, tried to buy items in the shops but can’t..tried to recollect keys, can’t pick them up..tried to interact with people but can’t..This seriously needs to be fixed..but as for me it broke this game..I will never buy a game from lionhead again..I achieved almost everything then this little problem made me lose everything..60+ hours wasted in my life down the drain..hint to the future of lionhead release a full game and not a half-assed one like this

why is it that when you look on ea all you see is people running down fable what is the point iv played fable,fable 2,fable 3,fable tlc, and even the pub games and i loved every minute of all the lion head games i think there all amazing and people who think its ok to blame lion head for there connection being rubbish or there xbox 360 playing up well its not if you dont like fable dont play fable stop crying about it like your all 3 and lion head dont stop what your doing because fable is the only game out that is worth playing

Hi Lionhead just wanted to know if Fable Heroes will be arriving to Steam anytime soon

I bought a new @ the time a black 360 with a 250gb hd & after 79 hrs into the game I was in the shooting range & when I went to shoot @ the targets & THEY disappeared outside of Lenny the merc the rabbit,crows & teddybear,wouldn’t let me leave via sanctuary,so I walked out,said I would be sent back if I continued to an earlier part of the game,I couldn’t do nothing else @ that point so I walked out,only to get a white screen & my character was falling endlessly on screen,so after 79 hrs I have to start all over again because unlike halo mw black ops Fable is on a different server so after starting Fable 3 on my new xbox it wouldn’t remember anything from my white 360 (the 1st one)now I get another new xbox 360 slim however this 1 was a present for XMAS it was a 4gb I returned it for a 250gb & paid the difference,now I’m @ approx. 240 hrs into the game & all of a suden game starts freezing within 3-5 minutes I was even sent a new disk & froze in 3 mimutes I have all this time invested in this game millions of dollars,approx triples of every weapon i’ve seen if someone is shy some money or a weapon they got it or give me something I don’t have can you even give me a guess as to what’s wrong, new disk didn’t work.putting my game on flash drive didn’t work xbox has no idea & most people I get don’t even know the game even after I ask 4 someone familar with Fable 3 can you help or direct me to the right people, thx 4 your time

ps if I enter or join another world I don’t freeze/or if I play on the 1st 360 (white one)I don’t freeze what’s the point of buying new xboxes with more memory if it’s useless two games I had to start over with approx 319 hrs wasted,PLEASE HELP

Black and white 3!!!!! 

fable 3 absolutely sucks compared to the first. Fable 3 has way too many gay (queer) refrences. i can ‘t talk to any male without him wanting me. Not just that but the map is completely BS. The guests cant be accested. The shops are but for 5 year olds. I’m sorry but this game offended me compared to the first that I feel like sueing.

I’m having trouble getting the fable 2 chamber of fate items, every time I try it and go onto the game the chest doesn’t open

I’ve noticed that the Fable2.com page is working again and when I log in with my Windows Live ID it says I’ve unlocked stuff. However when I go to the chest to get it, it tells me to go to fable2.com
Is it working as I am trying to get the Chicken Suit so I can finish this game off.

I am writing to you
today to express my passion for your most esteemed title ‘Fable’. It
has truly sparked my creative knack for designing unique adventure
story’s and games; the games I speak of are mealy home projects that
I hope one day I can make a profit out of (Or at least a bit of
experience).

Fable is a truly
fascinating game. It has the moments were it is absolutely hilarious
with its witty humour, but then it has its moments were you are
dragged to the edge of your seat by a dark, mysterious story.

When I first played
Fable in 2004 I was only 8 (Yes that would make me only 15) I saw the
game as a fantasy tale, in the later years I really became a huge
fan. I based allot of my Dungeons and Dragons tales on fable. Because
I am what I call ‘passive nerd’ I bend the simple table top game to
my own desire. I probably would have never done this in the first
place if it wasn’t for Fable.

However, I am not just
writing to you to express my passion for Fable, I am also writing to
confess my fear for what is next for the game? After Fable 3, I felt
let down. Was I let down because it was a bad game? Of coarse not,
the game was good! But was it good for a Fable game? I would say
unfortunately no. It lacked the style of Fable, the essence that made
Fable so good was taken away. I can take a guess that the road to
rule was because the Hero wasn’t properly trained and of ill experienced
but still, it needed more!

I’m just concerned on
what’s next for the franchise and what will be its outcome? Thank you
for your time.

I still have my Fable II i’ve already got the dlc See the future, but the other dlc knotonal island is their anyway you Lion head Studios could make the dlc as cheap as see the future cause come on the games been out for a couple years now so could yous please make it cheaper.??

Dear Lionhead can yall please fix the reavers manor glitch from wheel of misfortune quest cause ive been stuck in it for like a week now

Dude i didn’t know people were still having trouble with the reaver DLC hmmm one would think . . .anywho I no one person doesn’t make much difference but due to a general lack of care and consideration towards the continuing Fable games I have decided the I refuse to by any other Game from Lionhead studios.  The consistent fall in quality shows overall lack of pride in the games and the ignore of countless gamers in need is revolting. Bioware has shown great poise when regarding the Mass Effect 3 outburst and frankly this company could do well to follow that example. If the company will fix the horrible problem within Reaver’s mannor and save countless lost characters, I would gladly give any upcoming Fable games a second chance. I am sure many many others will also turn their heads and try again.

I am extremely upset that this game has only been released on Xbox 360 Kinect. I prefer PC but I could live with Xbox 360. However, in your shortsightedness, you only released it for the kinect. This leaves me out completely because I have muscular dystrophy and I am unable to move my arms enough to play any game that requires physical activity. I have played all three games prior to this one. Please do not limit this game to only people that are healthy. One of the only things I can do is play video games and now you have taken this game beyond my reach. I would also like to agree with the other people here and request that all of these games be ported to PC. 

i love fable.. i really do.. however i won’t be buying the upcoming one because its for kinect; i just don’t want my xbox being a wii, its just not my thing.

Fable 1 was the best game y’all made because of the magical elements in it. i must have played and beat that game 100 times and im still not tired of it. but i really hated fable 2 AND 3 because y’all slowly took away the hero idea. if i am gonna play a fantasy game, i wanna go all out, i dont want to mimick a hero, and wear lightning gloves. what ever y’all are working on with this “journey” thing, i am completely uninterested in. you know how tired of standing in front of a tv waving their arms around people are gonna get? they will quickly forget about that game, im sorry i dont mean to be a stickler, i know you guys are doing your best to break new ground and all but i know im backed up by tons of people when i say that its best to stick with the traditional controller in gaming.
