The only thing I don’t have in this game is 2 keys and 2 books. I’m not about to start over and find the other 52 keys and 28 books again but Dans Mourir fell in water and I can’t complete his quest. Is there anything that I or you can do about this? Somehow reset his position back to the quest start?

Dear Lionhead, I was wondering if there is any way, ANY way at all to fix the ‘The Game’ quest glitch where you find yourself stuck right before the door after killing the wolves. I am unsure if I should be asking it here, although I find myself quite tired of looking for a solution (so far I have only ran into solutions that do not work for me). I have spent over 20 hours in my game gathering Gold, finding silver keys and gnomes, and exploring the world. Thus starting a new game makes me highly inconvienienced.

This game really and truly sucked. Just making that clear. Some good ideas were not fully implemented and the story was interesting until you realized how linear and short it was. Try again next time, and don’t ship it till you’ve playtested it, gotten feedback, done some more Q&R, bug-stomped, and spit-shined the game. Then give worthwhile DLC that actually makes THE GAME AS A WHOLE better and more exciting instead of a stand-alone that has no value once completed.

I can’t get past getting the guild seal. Game just shuts down every single time. If I can’t get through it tomorrow, this will be going back to the store in the PC and with no patch available, you can explain to the store why they’re losing money.

I just had to start a new hero because of the directional spell glitch. I had everything maxed out, beat and unlocked everything understone had to offer and decided to purchase Traitor’s Keep. Doing that broke my files, so I have to start from the very beginning.

Money kingdom
The end of the fable III story is quite disappointing. Why is the whole kingdom rescue thing about money only when there are no right options to earn this money (6.500.000 golds). Could you make quests also rewarding in money / golds, that it has any sense to complete the quests. Do you really want enforce players meeting other players just for begging each other for kingdom golds?

Random weapons
Besides the weapon system is very unbalanced: 2-3 weapons of all those amount are overpowered all other weapons in comparision are way underpoweredand you can barely finish any quest with these ”brittle weapons”. The fact is, that the player will get most of the time randomly this ”bad weapons”. Do you really want enforce players meeting other players just for getting appropriate weapons? Why would I buy a game to put myself on stress for getting appropriate fighting equipment?

Meeting people to unlock content
Why solo players are enforced to connect online to other people for upgrading weapons and accessing content what they have previously paid for. This means those single players paid for features they can’t use if they are not going to connect online e g. demon doors, weapon upgrades, kingdom achievements…

Game loads only autosaves
When game crashes the actual autosave often corrupts indicated by a error message. After that the player can’t even load second save on another second save slot from “main game menu”. The game won’t load anyway and pulling out a loading corruption error.

Endless tutorial
Okay the epic storyline is fine, but why do you keep it like a never-ending tutorial. The butler never stays silent about the tutorial, even if the player played the game already multiple times. Can you provide adequate option to turn the tutorial completly off? If the player sells the tutorial weapon (the very first bought/received weapon), the sanctuary issue occurs, which means that the sanctuary shortcuts are disabled from that time.

Linking savegames
Very wrong is also the idea of linking the save games together. Not only the stats of all games are merged, but also the villagers will treat the player by previous savegame actions: If the player played once a evil king/queen, the kingdom people will comment on this in allfuture savegames. Preciously it means that the player can’t play sometimes good or bad, but the player must decide to be always good or always bad unless the player accepts the huge consequences for further gameplays. A savegame is one game and it should stay separetly to another savegame in my opinion.

Crime system
If a monster hits a soldier or citizen nearby of the player, the player is treated like a criminal afterwards by the entire kingdom population.The people of the kingdom develop hidden fears towards the player and the soldiers comment on it. This also might happen if the playerkills bad human monsters like brigants or robbers. The villagers “see” the dead robber bodies and count the protecting player as a murderer in the entire kingdom (killing bestial, crazy murderer etc.).By reporting a quest staying at a villagers house/shop the player is automatically counted as a criminal by “unwanted entering” of a building or store, even if this building/store is owned by the player. A soldier runs towards the player saying aboutcommitting a crime and taking a fine in several golds. After it the whole kingdom names your avatar forever a criminal. Why do you put monsters directly at the people front doors (e.g. Millfields)?

I am quite dissappointed of the game. Being fan of Fable and Fable II, I had expected a lot more. Loving playing solo I feel quite limited, and the storyline is much too present, it´s like you are forced to go on and leave all the sidekicks and little games behind. I have almost finished gathering my revolution and haven´t met anything I loved in the past games. I am still walking around in my first set of clothes and I would really appreciate to have my health bar back… I am really sad and going back to Fable II. Pity tho, I was really expecting something.

This game was initially terrible but when you added the prison quests it felt more like Fable 1/The Lost Chapters.

I think it was ridiculous when you had to make the bad decisions to raise the six million gold.It was also ridiculous when the crawler took over Sir Walter.. Terrible.
I’m not looking forward to The Journey. I want a new fable game that’s like Fable 1/The Lost Chapters.

I myself enjoyed the run thought and Story idea of the game. Though I can’t help feel presure always forced to do the tutorials all the time when a player has already played though it once already. The game save is very restricted especially when a player may want to create different hero’s (good, bad, and gender). I have to agree with the weapons uses worth is very lacking as to how you DPS your enemies and the most that I can fine of the most use of the weapons are just the looks killing your targets with style. Aquiring enough weapons are easy except the ones you need to complete the acievment. They should bring back fist fighting or a frying pan the way how its set up as it is. This game is very easy to play but the most that I can enjoy from it is the adventure. Just wish as well there was more different types of enemies except the usual Bandit, guards, hobbs etc. I’m pleased that the co-op gameplay was greatly improved but still needed a lot of bugs to get out of it with players charaters gliding and not running or getting disconnected from loading zones or cinimatics. The achievments to get are unreasible to trade weapons or armor across realms instead of being able to collect them with your own realm. A lot of players don’t wish to trade since they are trying to get the achievment. I have knowtist doors and areas player still can’t access possibly due to future DLC but everyone been stating its less likely over a year and Lionhead working on the Fable Journey. Also wish the game decisions was like Mass Effect but not as complicated. I rate this game a 3/5.

As a huge fan of fable and fable:tlc, I was quite disappointed with fable 2 and 3. I found both games were made too simplistic and required no actual thought or attention in order to complete them. Fable I thought had a very interesting story, and at parts a “dark” feeling story. 2 Was not as dark or as interesting in my opinion. Fable 3 however was in my opinion very *fluffy or childish*. If your goal was to make a game for all ages, then why was it rated M. (From Canada 17+) The DLC was in my opinion the worst part of Fable 3. Fable 2′s DLC was amazing I thought, there was quite a few new armors weapons etc. where as Fable 3 gave 2 DLC one of which gave you absolutely nothing, and another while a couple of the armors where cool, nothing else stood out.

Fable : journey or whatever its called looks awful and unless Lionhead releases a fable that doesnt use the kinect and is actually enjoyable to play with an interesting story, I will lose all faith in them.

Had no motivation to play this after the 2nd one, but finally got around to it…. truly horrible game, they’ve ruined weapon mechanics, and basic 3rd person exploration. I cant tell you how many times I got stuck trying to get ‘over’ a bump in the dirt. Ending completely unsatisfying, more so than the last one. Whats the point in having to make ‘tough’ decisions if I own all of Albion real estate and am collecting a good 200k every 5 mins. The only ‘tough’ thing I had to do was keep my wireless controller awake for a few hours while I got the 6.5 million. Very poor implementation of your final moral standings. And now I find out the next fable is a rail shooter exclusively on the kinect….Good luck on that one guys. When you want to go back to basics I might pick your series up again in the used $15 bin at gamestop, till then, Ill go back to play Lost Chapters.

Ok guys, I REALLY, REALLY hope someone sees this. Specifically someone who made this video game and knows how to fix this issue I am having! I started playing Fable III about a week ago. I am a chick, I. Never. Play. Videogames. This is seriously, the first videogame I have played other than Mario. Anyways, this game rocked – I was up all night playing this shit.

HERES THE PROBLEM: I AM STUCK IN REAVER’S MANSION!!! I went there to do a mission, and the doors lock, the game is saved and I canot teleport anywhere. I have seriously tried everything. I even got my boyfriend to help me and he;s an xbox guru. I am so sad right now…. the first game I get to actually play AND enjoy has to be glitched!

I’m also having the same problem with the Wheel of Misfortune room. It’s the second time I’ve been there for a mission and it tells you to spin the wheel and yet the only thing I can do in the room is read the scores of whatever next to the wheel. I try to fast travel to different places but it says I need to finish my mission before moving on. Only place I can travel to is where Jasper is. I was wondering if its going to be fixed because I love the game.

Does anyone know how to make so all of your stats are completely reset? I’ve been told that when you no longer have it connected through xbox live membership, (and its down on the free memebrship) when you start over your stats are reset. But when you renew the xbox live, it brings back all of your old stats. Help? Please? Does anyone know how to get them all to zero while its connected to xbox live?

I love fable games from the beginning.. I loved TLC, enjoyed Fable 2 but then came Fable 3. There are so many bugs, storyline is short, you have NO INVENTORY in this game and theres just too much of technology (robot dogs and elecricity in traitors keep.. wt??)… but probably the feature that annoyed me most was the terrible sense of humor in this game. I could stand the storyline but sidequests and the world? Ok I know Fable was always supposed to be funny but not this way. In TLC was humor I could smile on, but here it just fails.. get the reavers underwear because she is a fan?? OH COME ON!!!

I don’t know why so many people are hating on Fable 3… I think it was a great addition to the series. Fable 1 was fantastic, TLC was incredible, Fable 2 was top of the line, and Fable 3 blew it out of the water. I loved the game, have logged more than 200 hours on just one character alone and am still working on my Evil character playthrough…

Fable: The Journey though, does not sound appealing… an on-rails game that it supposed to be about choice and making things matter?… Sounds like Mass Effect 3 to me…

Hello everyone, I absolutely love this game so I had it in my computer and played it often for the last few months. Last week the PC started doing some weird things so I needed to format. I wanted to keep playing so tried to install again, I put in the cd the setup window pops up and I press normal instalation. It goes OK till it gets to 30% or so and the stays there for the last hour, I cancelled intall and tried again but keeps on failing at the same spot, can someone tell me how to fix this??

In my first game i spent around 30 hours on it and i had beaten the darkness but lost all the people in the kingdom but they eventually came back i had collected all the silver keys and had 32 weapons, nearly all the clothing as well as all the gold keys and demon doors, had collected 29 Auroran Flowers and i had opened all the golden doors, then my game corrupted so i had to start all over again. THEN i finished the game again but this time i saved everybody too by saving up heaps of money, i had 42 silver keys and all the gold keys and had opened all the demon doors except for one and had nearly all the clothing (again) then when i try to join someone online, it doesn’t work and when i go back to my own game, i have lost all my stuff (weapons, silver keys, gold keys, houses, clothes etc) and all i have left is my gold.
I have spent a long time on this game now and twice it has stuffed up my whole game so im pretty pissed off.

Noticed in the game it said something about destroying gnomes, however never could find any to destroy strange. People believe the crawler is Jack of Blades and others say no; Well its hard to tell, if you pay close attention to the clawer and Jack of blades you will notice they have similarities they both had minions and summoners; and nonone has seen his true form mentioned in a book in Falbe TLC (The Lost Chapters) and they both have one goal to burn the world as Jack had done plus he had ghastly figures; shadow beings that resembled men with wings.

Give me feedback as I will try to do this when I get home tonight..

Mainly the part that says:

– Download and Install Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant 6.5 choosing between the 64bit and 32bit versions depending on your Windows operating system
– Try to register your xlive.dll by going to Start -> Run – cmd – then type in REGSVR32 /u C:pathtothexlive.dll
– Run the Fable 3 exe in Windows XP compatibility Service Pack 3 (SP3) mode, Launcher, as well as Steam and any other related file
– Close any program that could possibly interfere with the game or its components (i.e. a firewall)
– Go to the Control Panel and choose uninstall/reinstall and choose REPAIR
– Reinstall / Repair Games For Windows Live / GWL
– Reboot your computer
– Reinstall Microsoft Games for Windows and Windows Live Essentials (GFWL / GWL / WLE). You can repair Microsoft Life Essentials via the Control Panel instead, but try reinstalling completely if that does not work.
– Try logging into the Games for Windows Marketplace before launching / opening Fable 3
– After reinstalling GFWL, copy the xlive.dll from C:WindowsSystem32 and paste it in Steamsteamappscommonfable 3to fix the xlive.dll error. Try registering it if necessary with the CMD from above.

Well I got it sorted out and I thought Id share the solution.
All I had to do was to create a new user of my computer in the control panel.
I had to set a password to that new user.
I then right clicked and hit “Run as”. I then chose the new user and entered the password. So I got the verification message as I did before, but now instead of hitting the button, I simply hit “Enter”. It all came along nicely after that.
Im not sure why this worked, but as long as it did Im happy.”

So, I got on today, tried to join someones game..It said connection lost to host, went back into my game, my character was pretty much reset and naked…All his stats and sliders were reset, and I had no silver or gold keys when I just went through the game and gotten them..The road to rule was reset(except the fireball spell, I can’t access it), all my weapon, clothes, and items were gone..I didn’t own anything anymore..all I had were the free dlc items and my money…The chests opened with the keys are still open so I can’t re-get what I lost and the demon doors are open with their items gone so I can’t get those either…This issue just broke the game for me, and I will never play it again..such a shame lionhead, you just broke this series for me..

Honestly I’m quite fed up with Lionhead at this point. I did all of the demon doors for the “Set Them Free” achievement on the xbox 360 and nothing popped up for me. As a matter of fact, the counter reset. Unreal. Thank you Lionhead for taking such good care of your loyal customers.

I am so sad, i had this fable 3 installed an working and uninstalled for space, but wanted to play again. What I dont understand is that you release a Fable and its a good game yet you never support the most important thing the customers every single PC version from Fable all the way to F3 you’ve never released any patches to download to fix issues and you seem to have a serious poor Q/A cause it’s plastered all over the net. On the xbox 360 port of fable 3 i recently picked up, i have played all the way until just before the last few to-do lists as the king, and decided to bet on a chicken race in brightwall, it autosaved just after selecting a chicken, and the chicken disappeared and now im stuck staring at the empty coop with now way out of it, and after 29 hours of gameplay, my save game is useless, is there any way i can avoid starting over completely? After the first problem, it follows the second ! I can`t import my old savegame files! I have 3 of them, all of them don`t works! What the hell! After Lionhead and Windows Live destroyed my last free Weekend, they destroyed my next again. Windows live says that my savegames are broken. All of them??? 1. the scenery
2. (some of) the cut scenes

4. the enemies

Wrong with it :-
1. STORY LINE
2. Horrible Weapon morphs

I, am an obsessive player of Fable Games, but this… this comes up way to short….

Im Not Impressed In the Least with this new Fable 3 & im soo glad i didnt pay full price for it.
The Character Rendering sucks, you HAVE to be online to play & its hardly realistic. the game is more focused on the main Quest & theres NO Emotional Connection to other characters & all. and the so-called upgrades to the gameplay & experience earning???
Bullcrappppp. that is NOT an upgrade, thats a sad waste of programming……. give me back my Experience Selections & get rid of the Sad ‘Road To Rule’ that only allows certain items to be unlocked and they HAVE to be in Order.

Fable 1: if i wanted to buy a house, i got enough $$ to buy it & i bought it.
Fable 3: you HAVE to advance to get the ‘Industrial Pack’
Fable 1: if i wanted to buy n sell for diff profits w diff markets, i did…
Fable 3: you can ONLY trade/sell to the Pawnbrokers who give you only half of wat the items worth.
Fable 1: if i wanted to upgrade my Mana Powers & Experience, i fought n did it.
Fable 3: You have to unlock your ‘Seals’ and use those to open chests to gain certain ones.

All in all. the game is crappy & a waste of MOney.
I honestly wish i never bought the damn thing & you Fable Makers better Step up your game or your losing a Customer….

So to finish………
DONT Waste your $$$$ on this piece of Trash.

I also liked fable 3 .. the multi-player aspect was a lot better than fable 2… nothing like having 2 xbox’s, playing with the wife, and having the stupid camera lock me where I can’t hit with melee cause she wants to blast them with lightning. I never played the first one but I loved fable 2 and even more fable 3 I don’t understand the disappointment only thing I can figure is 1 must’ve been just super amazing but then again I love games that let me and my wife play together. My only complaint about this game is once you go evil you can’t seem to go back the villagers never let you forget .. but you can be good forever and kill the guards for a few minutes (to get the kill guards achievement) and they hate you forever

Not being funny, im a big fable fan since i was a kid but we all have to admit fable 2 and 3 are a HUGE disappointment and was way to easy, fair enuf the latest fable had good graphics and and i think the spell fusion idea was brilliant but if the creators of fable stop and listen to the fans and if they did they would make an HUGE profit. I have an idea for a Fable game that iv occassionaly draw up, i think instead of goin forward i think they should go back as you know the spire grants one wish and Theresa is a gardian but what if Someone make a wish for things to go back to the ways of the Ancient times Before fable?, where you would play as an son or Daulghter of an Ancient Lord who exsiles you to safety and the story would be about you gathering a team of the very first Hero’s( or possibly the 4 hero’s in fable the 4 graves in the court yard) And how you create the Guild and like fable 3 you can choose how it is built, and what choises you make govens wether the guild is evil or good, an none of this lets fight in a dress when ur a dude nothing but REAL Magic not stupid gloves, Weapons that can and some that calnt morphe and armors that are Plated, Spiked, robed ya know like Bright Plated Armor, also only Bows and cross bows but no guns for the love of god no guns please tell me what you think who knows if enuf ppl get together we could get thing sorted P.S dont get me wrong Brandon Fable 2 was good but not as good as the 1st but we both know no mini map and havin to look at a glowing gold line takes your eyes of the months of graphics they taken to make on fable 1 an 2 it startin to feel like im playin hello kitty island

Fable I were good, Fable II were great, but Fable III really disapointed me, i was expecting a whole history as a king and not just some little decision, i played the whole game wanting to be king, and when i become, i end the game without anything exciting, and before i became king the game wasnt good like Fable II or III.

Don’t let the negative comments mislead. I actually loved the imagination and feeling of Fable 3. The characters and Environments looked the best yet. What ruined this game was the lack of content and the cheap money spinning dlc that Lionhead tried to give us. If the game had more side quests, a couple more regions and they released Traitor’s keep dlc sooner followed by a couple more similar decent sized dlc, then the game to me would have been in my top 10 games ever. What we got instead was silly over-priced dog costumes or tacky highlander outfit that was just pure insult to the fans.

Lionhead is a great developer and Fable is an amazing series but, they really need to change a few things firstly they need a mana bar back for spells as it feels unbalanced, they need more spells like in the lost chapters as there aren’t enough to choose from and there needs to be more areas to explore as well. I don’t mean to sound negative the series is fantastic but, they need to go back to what made Fable 1 so great.

no offence to anybody but I played the game in this order (fable 2 fable 3 fable 1) i only downloaded fable 1 to see the story but when i played it it was a greatly exaggerated from were I heard it from so i prefer 2 and 3 the only thing i liked from fable 1 was the bows i never liked mana bars that is why I like fable 2 and 3 better i do prefer the shops in fable 2 and 1 but in a way i do like the ones in fable 3

Since I can´t find any obvious way to request game support from

Lionhead, I try this place.

I have bought and played Fable III for some time, and when starting

the quest “The Game” and approaching the Barons Mansion, the game

glitches. I can´t get anywhere! I have tried every possible solution

on the web, without success. Is there any patch/update that solves

this problem? You think that they would have fixed this glitch, since

the game is over 2 years old!

So, Lionhead, (or any one else for that matter) is there any way I can

resolve this problem?
