    The game that had sdo much rich story, characters, and a world that should have been expanded on, this game is still the best in the series easily bar none. I still go back to this one as its how the series should be not the BS path they went with in Fable 2 and 3.Lionhead needs to make another game in this time, like this one(not something cartoony or stupid joke), and listen to the fans who have been asking for another true and good Fable like this wonderful game “Fable”/”Fable:The Lost Chapters” where heroes were heroes, and choices actually meant something.

       Have you even played the original?  How wasn’t it cartoony and joking?  I think each one is great, they are all different game, would you rather have them do the exact same thing over and over?  That would quickly become stale.  And the storyline is really starting to build, the original really was more of a prequel it seems to me.  In the third one, the main enemy is The Crawler.  Looking at him, he looks similar to Jack and the other Blades’ masks combined, at least to me.  He also says he has been waiting to attack Albion for centuries.  Jack’s host body was destroyed two and half centuries prior.  Another thing is the minions coming back, The Crawler’s shadows possess statues and look a lot like minions(one is even called a dark minion).  I think somehow,  The masks got reawakened.  The Crawler can’t actually attack, it can posses people, but I don’t think the Blades’ have actual bodies yet.  Oh and the Shadow Court in Fable Two.  I think those may be the Blades.  The middle one is a woman(Queen Of Blades, also the most powerful and the leader), and the other two are men(Jack and Knight of Blades).  So I think the fable is progressing finely, if I’m correct at all.  P.S. I also think that the third has the best music, and it’s all Shaw.  Just my opinion though.

    I unfortunatly never played TLC, but out of the 3 that I have, this by far had the best story

    I am just going to put it as I’ve been saying since Fable 2 came out. Lionhead, you made improvements, you added some cool features, you made some good content, and a couple more games that were in the end, without considering the existence of your previous game, good. or atleast decent. BUT, as this brings me great displeasure, I feel the most supporting role to the later Fables was only the story they fed off of from the first, as they lacked all the great things from the first that I loved. I replayed Fable one for at least 100 more hours of replay and completion after I first got it, and justify as you will the credibility of the later Fable’s. But I know what it felt like, the atmosphere and presence of the first, was just perfect and satisfying. Dialogue mostly fluid and a great feeling of story AS WELL as a character I actually felt some connection with. There was a margin of seriousness in the Right places. But this feeling and atmosphere was just gone after the first. I felt almost none of the same feelings for the other games, and you lost track of something great back there in number 1. Normally I’d say, yeah the new ones were alright games, good job. Unfortunately I feel that in the wake of this game, you set a bar for a great series and then let it just drop. I feel bad discrediting what I know was a lot of work to make for two more games. But honestly I would feel totally better and ready to accept a NEW Fable 2 that entirely disregards the existence of the current Fable’s past 1. I just feel there is room for greatness there, and it isn’t worth throwing away. Then I came to this site, never visited it before or at least for a while & don’t remember. But the look of this.. cartoon thing I stumble upon. I’m almost appalled to see all the seriousness of such a fantastic game be so besmirched. You are worth more than this, and as much as people tend to say ‘oh I’m a great fan ready to accept all their direction choices’. I will say myself, I am no direct fan to lionhead, only the great experience and story of Fable 1, and I would demand you straighten up and make a good bloody game in the direction you started with. Heck, I challenge you.  (and by the way, the demon doors of Fable 2 were Very dissapointing. I didn’t open a bunch of doors with all my time for a bunch of gold & a potion)

    This game wasn’t the best for it’s story or anything like that.
    It had the best skill setup!
    The spells and catagories for player enhancement in this game were wonderful!
    By all means make new games and make them have new stories and interesting stories!
    But go back to the experience based level up.
    And then we will have a Fable that everyone will love, old fans and new!

    This should totally be on the Mac App Store, I’ve only seen videos and played Fable 3 (only because it came with my Xbox) and would love to actually see what it was like before that.

    I think it was a mistake that Fable 2 wasn’t created for the PC… I would have payed good money for it.

    I BOUGHT 1 @ GAMESTOP & THE OTHER THROUGH DELL BOTH BLK 250GB WITH SAME FREEZING ISSUE NOW IF I GET A NEW CHARACTER UP TO APPROX 127 GAME HRS WILL THE SAME FREEZING ISSUE HAPPEN THERE ARE OTHER GLITCHES TOO LOOSE YOUR WIFE GOLDEN TRAIL DON’T SHOW UP ALL THE TIME i’VE HEARD OF PEOPLE GETTING STUCK IN REAVERS MANSION PLEAS HELP I REALLY DO ENJOY FABLE WHEN I’M ALLOWED TO PLAYFREE & CLEAR OF GLITCHES

    ps if I enter or join another world I don’t freeze/or if I play on the 1st 360 (white one)I don’t freeze what’s the point of buying new xboxes with more memory if it’s useless two games I had to start over with approx 319 hrs wasted,PLEASE HELP

    I returned it for a 250gb & paid the difference,now I’m @ approx. 227 hrs into the game & all of a suden game starts freezing
    within 3-5 minutes I was even sent a new disk & froze in 3 mimutes have all this time invested in this game millions of dollars,approx triples of every weapon i’ve seen if someone is shy some money or a weapon they got it or give me something I don’t have can you even give me a guess as to what’s wrong, new disk didn’t work.putting my game on flash drive didn’t work xbox has no idea & most people I get don’t even know the game even after I ask 4 someone familar with Fable 3 can you help or direct me to the right people, thx 4 your time

    I bought a new @ the time WHITE 360 with a 60gb hd & after 79 hrs into the game I was in the shooting range & when I went to shoot @ the targets & THEY disappeared outside of Lenny the merc the rabbit,crows & teddybear,wouldn’t let me leave via sanctuary,so I walked out,said I would be sent back if I continued to an earlier part of the game,I couldn’t do nothing else @ that point so I walked out,only to get a white screen & my character was falling endlessly on screen,so after 79 hrs I have to start all over again because unlike halo mw black ops Fable is on a different server so after starting Fable 3 on my new xbox it wouldn’t remember anything from my white 360 (the 1st one)now I get another new xbox 360 slim however this 1 was a present for XMAS it was a 4gb
