We want you to have the best experience possible with Fable: The Journey. That is why we’ve put together a collection of optimisation videos which give you insider information on how to get the most from your game. Guiding you is producer Jennifer Clixby as she takes you through; setting up your play space, calibration, the spells, aftertouch, voice commands, recharging mana and travelling.

Setting up your play space

Before we get into the game, it’s important to make sure that your play area is set up correctly, this will help out with both Fable: The Journey and any other Kinect games you might be playing.

Calibration

To make sure that Fable: The Journey is as accurate as possible, we’ve included a calibration section in the game, this video shows you how to get the most out of that section.

Fireball Spell

Fireball is a powerful spell that reigns fire down on anyone who gets in your way, now if only there was a video to show you how to cast it like a boss… oh wait…

Push Spell

Are you the non-violent type? Not a fan of shooting fire and lightning at those adorable Hobbes? How about you just stun with our handy Push Spell! (and then blast them with a fireball in their little squishy confused faces)

Shard Spell

Turn your enemies into skewered kebabs with our new and improved Shard spell!

The Counter Spell

Getting hit in the face over and over and over and over and over and over, gets boring after a while. Deflect those attacks with the Counter Spell.

Spell Combinations

So you’ve got the basics down? Time to mix all those spells up in a devastating sponge cake of terror!

Aftertouch

If you’ve got trouble with pesky Hobbes hiding behind rocks, trees or their own dead, why not hit them with a bolt in the backside with Aftertouch!

Voice Commands

Scream your way through your adventure as we teach you how to switch spells using just the power of your voice.

Recharging Mana

If your enemies are taking ages to kill, it might be because you’ve used up all that Mana of yours.
